Importing from Google Drive

Import your content from Google Drive into Slab with a couple clicks

You can import your Google Drive content instantaneously without leaving Slab! Learn more about the Google integration here.

✏️ Note: Only Google Docs and .docx files are supported right now — you won't be able to import PDFs or Sheets from your Drive.

To import from Google Drive:

  1. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Create post button in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Import from Google Drive.

  3. If you haven't already connected your Google account to Slab, you will be prompted to do so. Simply follow the authentication page provided by Google to grant Slab permission to access your files for importing.

  4. Search and click the document you want to import.

  5. Click Select.
