Notifications help you stay on top of edits, mentions, and comments as your team collaborates in Slab. You can get all notifications, none, or somewhere in between — each member of your team can adjust their settings to their own working style. 🗞️
Enabling & disabling notifications
Click on your account icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings.
Click on Notifications in the left-hand menu. You can then choose which notifications you want to receive by toggling the button on or off. Your new notification settings will be saved immediately!
You can adjust your email notifications in your Settings. You can choose to be emailed with notifications related to posts you own and comments you made, posts you contributed to and comments you commented on, and posts in topics you've joined as a member.
Stay in the know with the in-app notifications menu — just click the 🔔icon in the top-left corner of your screen. From edits, to comments, and everything in between, you'll find an overview of all activity there.
You can easily toggle between all unread or read notifications. Scrolling through your notifications will give you a quick overview without leaving your screen.
Caught up on all your notifications? Move them in bulk to the Read tab by clicking Mark all as read.
Whenever you click on a specific notification, that notification will be moved to the Read tab — automatically.
When you've enabled Slack notifications, you'll receive messages from Slab based on your personal notification settings.
From within Slack, you can preview edits, reply to comments, and open posts in Slab.
