When words just don't cut it, try an image instead! Adding images to your posts is a great way to make your content easier to understand — and more fun to read. 😸
Inserting images
You can insert an image in four ways:
- Copy and paste the URL of a publicly-accessible image
- Copy and paste the image itself
- Drag and drop
- Hit /image
Resizing images
You can choose from three image sizes: half, default, or full. Hover over an image to change its size.
Positioning images
Any images you insert will be centered by default, but you can also orient them alongside your text.
Just click on the image and select Float right or Float left.
Captions & comments
You can include captions under images for more context, or comment to ask questions and offer feedback.
To add caption to an image, just click the image and start typing in the Add a caption field.
To comment on an image, click the image and select the 💬icon.
Moving images
To move an image to another position within a post, hover over the image, click the gray dots that appear in the left-hand corner, and drag-and-drop.
Supported file types
You can insert .jpg, .png, .gif, and .svg images.
