Jira integration

Mention and search Jira issues in Slab

Updated over a week ago

Integrating Jira with Slab embeds critical information from Jira directly into your team's documentation for better communication and productivity.

Mentions in Slab Posts

To mention a Jira issue, on the Jira task page, hover over the issue name and click the paper clip icon to copy the link. You can also click the share icon and click Copy link. Paste the link inside a Slab post, and you will see it automatically unfurled into a dynamic mention! Hovering over the mention will open a preview with more details.

✏️ Note: To enable this feature, a one-time setup by your admin is required. See the Admin setup guide below for details.

Individual unified search

You can search your Jira issues directly in Slab. No need to open multiple tabs and dig through multiple sources anymore.

To enable search just for you, follow this guide.
